It has been a few years now since I completed my series of KISS portraits which I aptly named “Complete Kissotory”. An unexpected journey which began back in 2012 and took me about three years to complete.

The response from the KISS fan base or better known as the KISS Army has been nothing short of humbling and overwhelming so I wanted to give them something new. One thought that I kept coming back to was to do additional versions of the founding members of the band in their early makeup designs.

As an artist I like to try new techniques and express myself in different ways. So instead of doing these in the same style as the others I decided to create something different that will stand alone as it’s own series which I am going to call “The Originals”.
